Mists of Pandaria
As many of you may have heard, Blizzard have announced that they are releasing a new expansion to World of Warcraft called 'The Mists of Pandaria.
This new expansion will bring many new things to the game such as a new class and race, Challenge modes in dungeons and a pet battle system.
Pandaren
The Pandarens. An ancient and smart race, being fine chefs and quick learners. Their great knowledge of food gives them the ability to increase their cooking skill by 15 and gain an extra 100% stats from foods. Pandarens inner peace enables them to stay rested for twice as long as other races, and when a pandaren falls from a high distance, their quick reflexes makes it feel like they are landing on a soft bed and take 50% less fall damage.
They will move fast and hit their opponent's pressure points, putting them to sleep for 3 seconds.
Monks
The pandarens chose to share their ancient fighting techniques with the other races from the Alliance and the Horde. The monk being masters of fist fighting, only choosing to draw the weapons to finish their opponent off. The monk healers will bring peace to every one in their group, being able to heal the most severe of injuries. The monk brewmasters use their empowering beverages and strange fighting techniques to absorb amazing amounts of damage.
Challenge mode
A new challenge for adventurers to defeat the evil that lurks in the dark dungeons. Players can compete with each other to try and achieve the quickest possible in a dungeon to gain a gold medal. Rewards are given to those fast few who fly through the bosses all the way to the end as quick as they can
dominating everything in their way. If you select challenge mode, you gear will change to suit the instance making it even harder for the group to get through the dungeon as fast as they can. Great skill will be required to recieve a gold medal, and the spoils that come with it.
Pet battle system
Time to put your little useless companions to the test. Have a fight with friends to see which companion is better than the other. The more
fights you win, the higher your pet's level will rise and the more skills it is able to use. You can find very rare pets out in the wild,
some which may have a very high stat level so you can crush your opponents little companion and claim victory!
Pandaria
A new area will be avalaible to players called Pandaria. This continent has the most stunning scenery and beautiful views. Take a walk through the Wandering Isle or a stroll through the Jade Forest. Go try some of the Pandarian's famous food at the Valley of the Four Winds, or see the wonders of the Kun-Lai Summit.
Alot is waiting for the brave adventurers in the Mists of Pandaria....
